Beef Patties:
500g beef mince
½ onion, finely chopped
1 egg
1 tbsp LEA & PERRINS Worcestershire Sauce

4 short rashers bacon
4 eggs
4 butter lettuce leaves, rinsed
4 hamburger buns, split and toasted
4 slices GOLDEN CIRCLE Pineapple Thins in Natural Juice, drained
440g can GOLDEN CIRCLE Sliced Beetroot, drained
HEINZ Tomato Sauce , for serving

Method

  1. Place the beef mince, onion, egg and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl and season to taste. Mix until well combined. Divide the mixture into 4 portions and shape into large patties about 1cm thick.
  2. Heat a large non-stick frying pan or barbecue plate and lightly spray with oil. Cook beef patties over medium high heat for 3 minutes each side or until cooked. Meanwhile, cook the bacon and eggs on the same barbeque plate.
  3. Assemble burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the base of each toasted bun. Top with bacon, a beef patty, HEINZ tomato sauce, fried egg, GOLDEN CIRCLE pineapple and GOLDEN CIRCLE beetroot slices. Finish with an extra dollop of tomato sauce if desired. Replace bun lid and serve immediately.
