Ingredients

  • 1 can luncheon meat
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 2 cups breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
  • 1 x 440g can GOLDEN CIRCLE Pineapple Slices (drained)

    Mustard Sauce

  • ¾ cup undiluted evaporated milk
  • 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
  • 1 small onion (grated)
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Method

Cut meat into 6 slices, dip in beaten egg and coat with breadcrumbs.

 

Combine oil and butter in frypan and heat to 180°C. Cook crumbed slices until brown on both sides. Serve with grilled pineapple slices.

 

For mustard sauce: combine ingredients and heat in saucepan.

 

Serves 6. Mustard sauce is optional.
