Golden Circle Pineapple Frankfurts Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 crushed clove garlic
  • ¼ cup chopped green pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 500g slim frankfurts (cut in bite-size pieces)
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 x 440g can GOLDEN CIRCLE Crushed Pineapple
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon cornflour

Method

Cook garlic and green pepper in butter for 2 minutes. Add frankfurts, brown sugar and ginger. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Mix cornflour with a little of the pineapple liquid. Add pineapple and vinegar to frankfurt mixture, bring to boil and thicken.

 

Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

 

Serve with fluffy boiled rice. Serves 6.
