Shepherd's Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 x 440g can GOLDEN CIRCLE Pineapple Slices (drained)
  • 1½ cups seasoned cooked vegetables
  • 1½ cups diced cold meat
  • 1 cup stock or gravy
  • 2 cups hot mashed potatoes
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method

Finely chop 1 pineapple slice and add to vegetables, place in buttered pie dish

 

Mix together cooked meat, gravy, seasonings and spoon over vegetables. Cover with layer of mashed potatoes. Arrange remaining pineapple slices over potatoes, sprinkle with melted butter.

 

Bake in hot oven (230°C) about 20 minutes, or until potato topping and pineapple are lightly browned.
