Golden Circle Chinese Fried Rice Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 x 440g can GOLDEN CIRCLE Crushed Pineapple (drained)
  • 3 cups cooked fluffy rice (well drained)
  • 1 clove garlic (crushed)
  • 1 small onion (chopped)
  • 1 medium sized carrot (grated)
  • 2 bacon rashers (chopped)
  • ½ cup ham (chopped)
  • 1 red or green pepper (diced)
  • 1 cup frozen green peas
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup shelled, cooked prawns
  • oil for frying
  • salt and pepper

Method

Blanch the diced pepper, peas and carrot, drain well.

 

Heat 1 tablespoon oil in pan. Cook onion, garlic and bacon. Remove from pan. Fry the rice, remove from pan. Cook the eggs in the pan and as they are cooking break into small pieces with a fork.

 

Combine all ingredients together in the pan, gently mixing until well heated.
