Pineapple Scones

Ingredients

  • 2 cups self-raising flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon milk powder
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 x 440g can GOLDEN CIRCLE Crushed Pineapple
  • ½ teaspoon mixed spice or nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

Method

Sieve flour, add sugar and rub in butter. Beat egg, milk powder and water and mix in with knife. Add well drained pineapple.

 

Grease a baking tray and shape the dough into a round. Make 6 or 8 impressions in the dough and bake in hot oven 25-30 minutes.

 

Sprinkle top with sugar and spice mixed while still hot. Serve warm with butter.
