Toffee Crunch Pineapple Sundae

Ingredients

  • 2 x 440g cans GOLDEN CIRCLE Crushed Pineapple
  • 125g glacé cherries
  • 60g butter
  • 1 level tablespoon golden syrup
  • 1 tablespoon castor sugar
  • 3 cups puffed rice breakfast cereal
  • 300ml whipped cream
  • 1 cup green jelly

Method

Cut cherries in half, reserving 4 for decoration. Heat the butter, golden syrup and sugar until melted. Cook quickly until a little sets when dropped into a saucer of cold water. Mix the cereal through and cool.

 

Fill 4 sundae glasses with layers of crushed pineapple, jelly, cherries, toffee mixture and cream.

 

Top with whipped cream and cherry. Chill lightly before serving.
