Pineapple & Cinnamon Scrolls

These scrolls are delicious served for morning tea or as a treat in school lunches. They're quick and simple to make and no more difficult than whipping up a batch of scones - but the eating pleasure will surpass a scone anyday... I know that's a big call, but they're certainly as enjoyable anyway! The sweet pineapple tastes scrumptious with the cinnamon making this a great Golden Circle pineapple recipe!

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C. Combine flour and butter in a food processor and process until well combined. Add the milk and pulse until just combined. Turn out onto a floured surface and knead until smooth.
  2. Roll dough into a 30cm x 40cm rectangle. Spread jam evenly over dough, leaving a 2cm border around edges then sprinkle with GOLDEN CIRCLE pineapple pieces and cinnamon. Starting from the long side, roll up dough tightly. Cut into 10 even scrolls.
  3. Arrange scrolls on a baking paper lined oven tray. Brush with extra milk and sprinkle with sugar. Bake for 25 minutes, or until golden brown. Stand for 5 minutes before serving
